Glitch Project

1. As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective? As the artist of this piece, my main objective was to make a picture look glitchy, like a computer glitch.

2. What tools did you primarily use for this project?

For this project, I used the quick selection tool, levels and channels, and the filter gallery and wave filter.

3. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Some challenges that I faced during this project include how much of a glitch effect to make, whether or not to make the gloves stand out, etc.

4. The goal of this assignment was to create the effect of a Retro VCR style “Glitch”. Multiple styles were demonstrated in class. What technique did you use and why?

I used a technique that I found on YouTube. I used it because the project that was made on the video using this tutorial worked, so I wanted to try it for myself.
